Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Yes indeed, I love the first Transformers movie, so I had to get out and see the new one opening weekend.  I don’t want to spoil the movie for you, so I’ll just give you two words:  Sensory Overload!  In my opinion there is a fairly accurate review over at avrev.com so check it out if you want a spoiler.

If you like sensory overload, then be sure to find a good theater, because this movie will be taxing every bit of the audio system!!  You might want to sit at the back, too.  That way the subwoofage won’t be making you sick and the high pitched transforming sounds don’t peirce your eardrums.  My ears felt a little overused by the end.  Ok, end of rant…

    The past 10-20 years have had everyone pursuing home theaters with bigger screens and more bass capabilities. This show seemed to be the movie where you’ll find the limit. If you can watch this in your HT and NOT be beaten up, then yes, you need more. If you feel hungover the next morning, then your HT is about right…
